Please see vocabulary, flash cards, grammar etc. for this lesson on: https://www.chinesepod.com/QW0428<br /><br />In this Qing Wen, we look at ways to give recommendations, suggestions, and opinions using the characters: 推荐 [推薦] tuījiàn (to recommend), 建议 [建議] jiànyì (recommendation/to suggest), 意见 [意見] yìjiàn （objection/complaint/to suggest).<br /><br />These 3 words are similar in English but have very different usage patterns in Chinese and are often used incorrectly by students, so today we hope to make it nice and clear for you all.<br /><br />Key Vocabulary:<br />推荐（tuījiàn) - to recommend (can only be used as a verb)<br />建议（jiànyì) - to suggest; a suggestion (can be used as a noun or a verb)<br />建议人怎么做“ (jiànyì rén zěnme zuò“) - suggestion person thing to do<br />意见（名词）(yìjiàn（ míngcí）) - opinion; suggestion<br />有意见（yǒu yìjiàn）- to have a problem, to have an opinion (adjective, to mean to be unhappy with)<br /><br />----<br /><br />Like this video?
